Tucked away in the rapidly growing Ditmas Park section of Flatbush, Brooklyn is the charming and ever so yummy Mimi's Hummus. There are range of dishes from Mushroom hummus to Beet Salads to Labane Cheese and Yougurt spreads: and there is so much more!
During their amazing brunch, you can feed on Burekas (spinach and cheese stuffed filo with hard boiled egg and tabuli salad), Morroccan pankcakes (made with Semolina flour and dipped in some fresh honey), a slew of tasty Eggplant dishes: and of course, more varieties of hummus!
The food here is extrememly fresh. Everything is prepared as you order it and crafted beautifully, all for your indulgence. Pitas are freshly delivered and warmed to perfection: all for your dipping and nibbling pleasure. The staff is super friendly and nice; they are also very accomodating in order to make your experience all the better right here in good ol' Brooklyn!
So make a field trip out of it: pop in to this amazing restaurant. Whether you are outside of the area of this little Brooklyn hot spot or even outside of the Borough completely, it is well worth the visit. From Union Square in Manhattan: a mere 33min trip via the Q train (or B train from 34th Street) to Cortelyou road. Cortelyou road has access to a lot of buses running along the street itself and even along Coney Island Avenue (only a few blocks away). No reservations required, but they'll gladly take one if your party is bigger than 4 people.
