project: CLEAN FOOD introduces...
From
Manhattan, NY
Bio
I have been practicing Jivamukti Yoga since the age of 6. Having grown up in New York City, I have been able to gather an eclectic style of teaching that has brought me into the public school system, youth development centers as well as yoga conferences and and yoga schools around the world.
What do you do?
Try to create an atmosphere where people can explore the teachings of yoga.
Why do you do it?
I would not want to do anything else
What inspires you?
My Gurus Sharon and David and all the teachers that I meet in many forms.
Why is eating healthy, CLEAN FOOD important to you?
I enjoy the feeling that every time I sit down to eat, I am able to do so many things; I am creating my body from clean food, I am casting my influence in the form of dollars to support a form of compassionate agriculture that in turn [supports farmers everywhere].
What do your prefer: Juice or Smoothie?
Depends I guess. Although I have been getting into green juice in the past months.
Favorite Juice recipe?
Green Juice. Spinach, Celery, Green Apple, Collards, Cucumber, Lemon
Your vision for the future of healthy eating?
A world where food choices are made based on harmony, compassion for all beings. A world where people know more about food and where it comes and what it has the power to do.
Motto on Life
